KENZO

FABRICS

Kenzo Tange, winner of the 1987 Pritzker Architecture Prize, is one of Japan’s most honored architects. Though he was trained as an architect, Tange was equally as influential as an urban planner giving him significant influence in Japan and around the world at both large and small scales. He mixed traditional Japanese architecture with modern architecture principles. His best work included the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, St. Mary's Cathedral, and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. In all of his projects, there is a recurrent theme that Tange has verbalized, "Architecture must have some- thing that appeals to the human heart, but even then, basic forms, spaces and appearances must be logical. Creative work is expressed in our time as a union of technology and humanity. “

As these erratic and stressful times make it increasingly difficult to find tranquility and relaxation in our lives, one of the few options left is to create a peace haven in the comfort of our own home. KENZO by The Trendsetter Studio decorator fabrics collection is all about beautiful natural colors, in soft tones, such as white, grey, shades of beige or pink beige, which have the power to induce a sense of relaxation and calmness.
