Renzo Piano, an Italian architect whose work seems increasingly relevant to our times, has always been a huge inspiration for us. His design for The Shard skyscraper, famous for its sharply tapered glass facade towering above the historical skyline of London, is certainly one of the most interesting and acclaimed contemporary artworks. His amazing interest in the experimentation of new technologies has executed some really city-defining landmarks.
